Video Workouts

What is ‘Step-by-Step’?
‘Step by Step’ is an overview of the workout, broken down by each movement.

What is ‘Favourite’?
Favourite a workout and find it back more easily afterwards. Select the star in the top corner of the screen to view a list of all your favourited workouts.

How do I give feedback on a workout?
You can leave a comment on the workout giving you thoughts on it. (not really an answer to the question? 🙂 )

How do I save a workout for later?
Favouriting a workout will make it easier for you to find it back afterwards. Select the star in the top corner of the screen to view a list of all your favourited workouts.

How do I view the exercises individually?
Go to the ‘Step by Step’ view and select the exercise you wish to see.

Why do I need to warm up?
Warming up is essential to a good workout as it prevents injury. Without a proper warmup, you run a very high risk of pulling a muscle or encountering a more serious injury. A good warmup can be as simple as light jogging and some stretching.

How do I pause the workout?
Tap the screen to pause the workout.

If I stop the workout, can I resume it where I left off?
All workouts are meant to be done in one go, so unfortunately it’s not possible to stop a workout and continue later.

One-on-One Bookings

Can anyone book a session with a personal trainer?
Once you’ve registered your WeBox account, you can book a personal trainer right away.

What are personal training sessions like?
Personal training sessions will vary slightly depending on your goals and your chosen coach’ coaching style. However, a typical WeBox personal training session will include skipping, dynamic stretching, technique drills, pad work, conditioning and a cool-down.

Can my friends join my session with a personal trainer?
Personal training sessions are limited to you and your coach. It’s not allowed for you nor your coach to bring someone else into your session.

How are the WeBox trainers chosen?
WeBox trainers are all certified through the WeBox certification training program, where their coaching skills are thoroughly vetted by experienced coaches. Once the coaches have received their certification, they are free to use the WeBox app to book appointments with clients.

Can I become a personal trainer?
We are always looking to add more passionate trainers to our team! If you want to become a personal trainer yourself, all you have to do is register for an upcoming certification course and pass the exam.

Can I request a specific personal trainer?
Definitely! Select ‘Book a one-on-one session’ and you will see a list of all available coaches. Scroll down through the list and select the coach you want.

How can I learn more about my personal trainer?
Click on your coach’ profile to read more about their background.

What is the cancellation policy?
If the client cancels more than 2 hours before class, then no penalty is incurred. However, if the client cancels less than 2 hours before class, including after class starts, the full price of class will be charged and trainer will be paid.

Are there any requirements for the session location?
No, however we highly recommend there be sufficient open space, and enough amenities to ensure you feel comfortable training.

How do I book a session with a coach?
Open the WeBox app and select ‘Book a one-on-one session’. Select your coach, desired workout time and location and send out the request. You will receive a booking confirmation once you have to pay.

How do I give feedback after a personal training session?
You can rate your trainer on a scale of one to five stars and leave comments at the end of the session.

Payment

How do I pay for my training session?
You can use Alipay, WeChat wallet or a coupon.

What are the benefits of a 10-session bundle?
When you buy a 10-session bundle, you will receive coupons to the value of each session which you can redeem for future bookings. Buying a build will also mean that you’ll benefit from special offers.

How do I use an invitation code?
An invitation code should be used when you first create your account by binding it to either your phone number, WeChat or Weibo account.

How do i use a coupon or invitation code?
You can redeem a coupon code at check out for a one on one or a training program, once selected the value of the coupon code will be deducted from the total value of the one on one or a training program. If the value of the coupon is less than the total value of the one on one or a training program, you’ll need to pay the balance via WeChat or Alipay. If the value of the coupon is more than the total value of the one on one or a training program, then the coupon will be expended and no balance or refund will be given for any change/balance left over. You’ll also, only be able to use one coupon per purchase, so to make multiple coupon purchases you would need to complete each purchase individually.

What is WeBox?
WeBox is an app that provides personal training on demand by connecting users with qualified boxing trainers, online training videos and group classes at a variety of locations.

How does WeBox work?
Users put in their request for a personal training session, including the desired location and time. If the user is not asking for a specific coach, all trainers will receive a notification of the booking request. Once a coach has accepted the booking, users then pay their fee and have their class.

How can I become a partner gym?
You can become a partner gym by contacting WeBox and reading and agreeing to CSP’s terms and conditions, which can be found in the Terms and Conditions section.

What are the requirements for partner gyms?
Affiliate gyms are required to provide resident one-on-one sessions and group classes in their facilities, and agree to all the Terms and Conditions determined by CSP.

How do I earn revenue?
Upon successful application and based on WeBox Gym Assessment criteria, WeBox affiliated gyms will be able to earn revenue in the following ways:

Resident One-on-Ones – Resident WeBox-certified coaches will be listed within the app and are able to provide one-on-one coaching to WeBox users.

Resident Group Classes – Resident WeBox-certified coaches and the gym’s group classes will both be listed within the app. The number of available spots per group class will be determined by the gym.

WeBox Community Group Classes – Resident WeBox-certified coaches will provide free community classes at the gym’s facilities. No fees will be charged and therefore no commissions will be paid to the trainer nor the gym. However, the gym may be able to take advantage of any retail sales or direct membership sign-ups by those who attend the WeBox Community Group Classes.

WeBox Network One-on-One Sessions – Non-resident WeBox-certified coaches will be listed within the app and are able to provide one-on-one sessions to WeBox users at the gym’s facilities. The gym will earn commission for each WeBox Network One-on-One Session they have facilitated.

WeBox Network Group Classes – Non-resident WeBox-certified coaches will be able to lead group classes at the gym’s facilities. The gym will earn a commission for each WeBox Network Group Class they have facilitated.

WeBox Certification Classes – Non-resident WeBox-certified coaches are able to lead certification classes for new WeBox coaches at the gym’s facilities. The gym will be allowed 2 free slots to attend these classes. The gym will earn a commission for each WeBox Certification Class they have facilitated.

WeBox User Referral Program – For every user that successfully downloads the app and books a one-on-one class with a WeBox-certified coach, both the user and the referrer will earn [RMB 50] credit. WeBox-certified trainers and affiliated gyms will gain [RMB50] in earnings.

WeBox Coach Referral Program – WeBox affiliated gyms and WeBox-certified coaches may gain additional earnings by referring trainers to undertake the WeBox certification courses. WeBox affiliated gyms and WeBox-certified coaches will earn [RMB 300] for each referred trainer that successfully completes their first WeBox certification course.

How can one of my trainers get certified as a WeBox trainer?
Your trainer can get his or her WeBox certification after completing and passing the WeBox Level 1 Certification course. These certification courses are given on a regular basis.

When will I receive my payment?
Payments our made by our finance department on a monthly basis
